Leah is a life-long horse enthusiast pursuing therapeutic work with horses as her new career
path. Recently retired from a 27 year career teaching at Lincoln Elementary School in St Joseph. Leah achieved certification by the Equine Assisted Growth and Learning Association. Passionate about horses, Leah began riding at the age of six and has trained and shown horses throughout her life.
Leah adores spending time with horses and witnessing first hand their intelligent and intuitive nature. Horses are by nature non-judgmental and genuine in their interactions, thus making them perfect facilitators of therapy and learning sessions. Horses can teach people a great deal if we are open to listen to them. Leah is thrilled to combine her love of horses with her desire to continue helping people. Working as a vital part of the EAGALA team, Leah feels honored to be a part of each client’s journey towards healing and growth.
