The counseling team at Trilogy Counseling Center is dedicated to providing compassionate, professional mental health care to individuals across Michigan. Our clinicians bring a thoughtful, client-centered approach to counseling, creating a supportive environment built on trust, respect, and ethical practice. Each member of our team is committed to ongoing professional development and evidence-based care to ensure high standards of service. We work collaboratively with clients to support emotional well-being, personal growth, and long-term wellness.
Anne Carpenter, PhD, Owner
Trilogy Counseling, founded in 2019, is devoted to helping individuals navigate life’s challenges and transitions, build resilience and cultivate meaningful lives. One of my greatest points of pride are the amazing therapists I have brought to the Trilogy team and I wholeheartedly endorse each one with their unique talents. As the founder of Trilogy, I have many years of experience across diverse populations, gaining significant experience and insight to aid my clients in their healing journey as a guide at their side. I trust in each person’s inner capacity for change and work collaboratively for personal growth and emotional healing. Often described as “down to earth,” I bring my natural compassion and respect for my clients to foster meaningful change. I welcome clients from across the lifespan and from all walks of life.

The decision to work with a therapist can seem overwhelming. I strive to create a collaborative environment to deal with past issues, current stressors, and to help you outline your future goals. Whether you are dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, self-esteem, or other concerns, I provide a trusting relationship, in a judgement free atmosphere, to promote health and wellbeing.
I have experience working with adults, adolescents, and children (ages 12+). I use a multidisciplinary therapeutic approach that is specific to your needs and goals. This includes the use of psychodynamic therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness, EMDR, and trauma informed treatment.

In these moments, you may want a listening ear, advice, and resources to move from a place of fear and frustration to a place of action, success, and thriving.
I aim to walk with clients towards measurable goals that bring them peace, contentment, and success in their lives using psychodynamic therapy, solution-focused brief therapy, and Cognitive-Behavioral therapy.

Taking care of your mental health has benefits that extend to all areas of life. I work with each of my clients to facilitate growth and understanding, as well as provide a judgment-free place to process and work through life’s challenges. I use a combination of person-centered, existential, solution-focused, cognitive behavioral therapy and EMDR.
I have many passions within the mental health field including: treating depression, anxiety, panic attacks, trauma, relationship distress, grief, adjustment. and postpartum anxiety.
Allison Haynes, LMSW-Clinical
The decision to seek therapy is as individual as the approaches to treatment. I am a Licensed Master Social Worker with almost 10 years of experience providing behavioral therapy to neurodivergent individuals and their families. In addition, I treat anxiety and depression symptoms that can coexist, utilizing CBT and mindfulness approaches.
Courtney Bennett, Counselor, MAATC, LPC
My goal as a therapist is to provide a safe and compassionate space so that when they are ready, individuals can feel comfortable opening up about their emotions and experiences. In addition to talk therapy, I also offer art therapy as a way to engage the mind and body on a deeper level. I take a nonjudgmental stance and view therapy as a collaborative process. I believe you are the expert on your own life. Together, we will honor your differences, tap into your strengths, and work towards change that is meaningful and important to you.
I enjoy working with adolescents and young adults with a variety of concerns, including trauma, anxiety, and depression. I am also passionate about supporting LGBTQ+ folks. I believe growth occurs through a trusting therapeutic relationship and often use art, authenticity, and humor to create avenues of connection.
